Meek Mill’s Lace Wig Comments Mocked By Toya Wright

Toya Wright was among the women unimpressed with Meek’s wig protest.

When Meek Mill announced that he was manning a protest against lace-front wigs, women around the world voiced their anger on social media. It turns out that his ban had to do with a personal experience he had some time ago. Although he didn’t name names, Meek told fans all about the traumatic experiences he’s had with women who wear lace-fronts. “I was hitting something from the back grabbed her hair just to make it a lil rough and it slipped off and ever since It’s been trauma,” explained the rapper. As expected, there was some backlash with women pointing out the reasons why they opt for wigs. Toya Wright was among the women uninterested in hearing Meek’s explanation.

The entertainer tagged her hairstylist in a video on Instagram, emphasizing that she was “laced” by her boo. The shade came in her hashtag, writing, “#whatlaceMeek.” Stefflon Don had one of the funniest responses to Meek’s comment, telling everyone about how far back her hairline goes. The response has been pretty hilarious, to say the least. While nobody is really lashing out at Meek, he had to have seen this coming.
These women take their hair seriously so when you try and protest lace-fronts, you better be ready for the backlash.
