Kim Kardashian squashed another rumor about her growing family.
Twitter’s rumor mill is almost a sentient being unto itself at this point. In a matter of seconds, someone’s assumption or conjecture about another user’s post, especially those of celebrities, can be taken out of context and stretched to the point incredulity. Yesterday (October 23rd), one of social media’s most talked about women, Kim Kardashian, had to fend off yet another hoax that was being passed around the Internet about her third child with husband Kanye West. Or, in Twitter’s view, children.
It began innocuously enough. Kim tweeted out a question to her followers, which read: “Anyone know who makes the best double stroller? Not a tiny compact one but regular size.” Many people wouldn’t make much of that, but an equal amount blew the query out of proportion, assuming that she was looking for a double stroller because the surrogate that she and Kanye had hired to carry and give birth to the next addition to their family was expecting twins.

The response quickly escalated to a fever pitch, with many fans expressing their emotions exuberantly and at an incredibly fast pace. Below is but a mere sampling of the public’s reaction.

Of course, Kim clarified what she meant with the question soon after, reminding people that she already has a couple of kids and, hey, maybe those compact strollers aren’t cutting it anymore.
